Ash Barty is a proud Ngarigo woman who recently retired as a champion tennis player.
Ash understood the importance of mindset to her performance. In fact, Ash had a mindset coach who worked with her to achieve her goals. She didn’t compare herself to others – Ash set personal best goals that helped her to become a champion.
Ash concentrated on what she could control – including her commitment to being the best she could be. She was open to new learning and doing things in different ways – being resourceful, persistent and resilient.
When Ash found things a bit tough, she concentrated on process and practice. She understood that when she got the process right, she improved her performance – it’s all about mindset, process and practice.
