Setting and achieving goals is a skill that can be learned and developed with practice over time. Anybody can become skilled in goal setting – and that includes you!
The more you do it the better you get!
Remember, your goals are all about you – nobody else. So, when you set a goal, it should be about your improvement, your achievement – not a comparison between you and other people.
Your goal should also be positive and aspirational – aim high, be strong and proud!
Build a sense of agency.
Unfortunately, simply setting a goal doesn’t mean you’ll achieve it – you also need a goal plan to put into action.
Failure to plan is a plan to fail. Use Goalhub to set steps and add a target date using the date picker.
A goal plan can be modified whenever necessary to ensure you achieve your goal.
If things still don’t quite work out, think about adjusting your goal a little to make it more achievable.
But whatever you do – don’t give up, be persistent and resilient!
Your goal plan should identify your goal (including the benefits of achieving it), the timeframe within which you aim to achieve it, and the steps (actions) you are committed to undertaking.
For example:

Okay, this may be a simple goal that’s not that relevant for you. Or perhaps, the goal plan doesn’t suit you (you can always change it). Anyway, it’s just an example.
Choose a goal you’ve already set in Goalhub (or, set a new one) and create a goal plan with the steps (actions) you’ll take to achieve it. You can add more steps in if you need to.

The explicit and specific steps required to achieve the goal are written into a goal plan. This process requires reflective thought. Once documented it provides accountability. This process is well suited to using Goalhub.
