Capability is the power to do things.
Building your capability means building the power (or the capacity) to do new things, do things differently and/or do things better.
Capability is like a muscle – the more you use it the stronger and more powerful it becomes.
King Stingray is a band from the Northern Territory, which includes Yolŋu (Aboriginal people of northeast Arnhem Land) and balanda (non-Indigenous) musicians. Their goal is;
“to open the eyes of a nation while simultaneously rocking its socks off.”
They’ve worked hard to achieve their goal by building the capability to write great songs and deliver powerful performances (in both English and Yolŋu Matha languages) that share stories of connection to home and family.
